Description:

  A real little gem of a café, Vértigo's interior design is characterised by 1950's and 1960's vintage furnishings, with the black and white photographs on the wall further enhancing the retro appeal. There's a wrought iron spiral staircase in the centre of the bar that disappears down into the depths of the building while above, a fantastic stained glass ceiling (best appreciated when illuminated) completes the period picture. The menu offers 17 different types of tea, and much of the food – fresh salads, smoked salmon etc – is made from biological ingredients. The house speciality is the rich chocolate cake – sinful but sensational!
