  One of Lisbon's most elegant cafés, its flowered wallpaper and pine-clad floor lends Orpheu a fresh, breezy air that is at once relaxing and inviting. Antique wooden furnishings add to the yesteryear ambiance although the overall look is actually quite sexy and contemporary. The weekend brunch option has become somewhat of an institution mixing as it does hot and cold choices that are fresh and healthy, but breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinners can also be enjoyed. The building overlooks the attractive Praça do Príncipe Real, and there's a rear terrace for good measure.
