  • The excitement of Lisbon lives on, as the party fever starts a cocktail hour and keeps building. Regular patrons of Pavilhão Chinês (Chinese Pavilion) buzz the doorbell to enter the popular bar. This is a common practice in Lisbon, however some tourists find it very intimidating. But don't get the wrong idea, everything is done in the spirit of fun. Pavilhão Chinês is one of the most popular bars in Lisbon. Guests can choose to hang-out in any of the four intricately decorated rooms. And don't forget to play a friendly snooker match while you have your drink. If you are headed downtown make sure to drop by the Café Nicola. Truly a historical landmark, the bar was favorite place of Portuguese writers and poets. Bocage, a famous poet in the 19th century was a regular visitor at Café Nicola. Those who like listening to good music can visit Blues Café. Reminiscent of the bars in New Orleans, visitors can chill out while enjoying the best blues and jazz tunes. Or if you brought your dancing shoes, drop by the Blues Café on a Friday or Saturday and dance till dawn.
