  • Lisbon is a great place for kids. To start off there's Parque das Nações a huge amusement park that can bring out the child in everyone. The park's main attraction is the wonderful Aquarium-Oceanario, which provides a fascinating trip through the world's oceans. Kids and adults can enjoy views of the Tagus River and the Vasco da Gama Bridge from the ground or from the air in the cable cars. You can also go on a family picnic at the Parque Eduardo VII. The park is not too crowded and stretches above Lisbon's old town center. The welcome breath of fresh air and the sprawling green space is perfect for an afternoon stroll or picnic. Kids will also love exploring the city aboard the Lavra Elevator. Built in 1884, it is one of the oldest elevators in Lisbon. Used by commuters to get to the center of the city, the Elevator da Lavra runs through Rua de São José and Portas de Santo Antão, near Avenida de Liberdade and Rua Camilo Pestana. The fun never stops in Lisbon, so get ready for many wonderful activities the whole family can enjoy.
