The Portuguese CS hotel chain is well regarded throughout the land and this luxury 5-star Lisbon property has been received with much fanfare. Created by refurbishing a 19th-century façade and constructing behind its new face, the hotel combines a contemporary design signature with elements of the past: look out for the period furniture! Rooms and suites at the Vintage fall into three categories: Superior Double Rooms; Deluxe Double Rooms; and Suites. A complimentary cot or child's bed (for children up to 12 years old) can be provided in each room type upon request making this a family-friendly hotel option. The adjoining bathrooms feature a walk-in shower. The spa facility has won plaudits for its architectural qualities and the range of treatments on offer: hydrotherapy is popular among guests. An à la carte menu based on traditional Portuguese cuisine is matched by a wine list of similar calibre which makes the hotel's Vintage Restaurant a noted fine dining venue.
