• Located in a lively quarter close to Anjos Metro station, the rooms and apartments in this charming 19th-century townhouse are ideal for family use and long-term stays. Almost entirely furnished with beautiful antique décor and maintaining a genuine period atmosphere, the guesthouse is run by the well-known Macedo family. Rooms are variously configured but do not have private bathroom facilities. Instead each floor shares two spotlessly clean and attractive bathrooms decorated with hand-painted azulejos (tiles), one for males the other for females. Continental breakfast is included in the price and guests have the use of a fully equipped kitchen facility. The three apartments are for 4-5, 6-9 or 9-12 persons but can also be rented individually. All accommodation has heating, air conditioning and TV as standard, but no Wi-Fi access. A modest swimming pool enclosed by a private garden is for exclusive use by residents. Note that there is no elevator in the house.
