- Harmony and tranquillity are the buzzwords used to describe this 4-star design hotel. The minimalist décor lends the interior an almost abstract quality and the chocolate, cream and scarlet colour scheme is seriously sensual. The building's traditional Portuguese stone block architecture belies the contemporary heart of this urban retreat. Striking modern artwork decorates the walls and corridors, and attention to detail is meticulous. The 65 rooms are positioned to make the most of the natural light that bathes the property. Bathrooms are fashioned out of marble and glass. Public areas include a wood deck terrace positioned across a central patio where a substantial breakfast is served, and a fashionable bar. There's no restaurant. The hotel's location is fabulous. It lies opposite the 16th-century Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, and the Centro Cultural de Belém is just a stroll across the park. Parking is no problem, and tram and bus links are close at hand.

Hi, we stayed at this hotel for 5 nights last month to celebrate a special occassion. The hotel is bang next to the Jeronimos Monastery and great to walk around the Historic quarter....
