Located on Aveninda da Liberdade, the hotel's elegant and contemporary design is the handiwork of architects Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet. Much of the interior is a harmonious blend of red, gold and natural wood décor, a colour combination that is warm and mellow. The guest rooms and suites all feature cosy MyBed mattresses and feather pillows. In-room features include LCD TV, Bose sound system, Wi-Fi and fresh flowers. A number of rooms interconnect so are suitable for families. The Sofitel is a favourite business venue and conference and meeting space can be tailored to specific requirements. The refined and convivial atmosphere is extended to the Intra-Muros Bar where snacks can be ordered over drinks. The adjoining street-level AdLib restaurant specialises in French haute cuisine.
