    • Consider its location before you opt for this modern and stylish 4-star hotel. If you are on business and attending the nearby Lisbon Conference Centre it's an ideal choice – the property actually adjoins the conference facilities. However, the hotel overlooks the busy Avenida da India and is positioned under the shadow of the towering Ponte 25 de Abril. That said, the Alcântara Docas leisure area with its collection of lively river front bars and restaurants is on the doorstep, and there's a city tram stop 40m from the front door. The property itself is themed around opera, and the decor beautifully reflects this classical music art form. The 259 rooms include 16 junior suites. Guest amenities include a health club that offers beauty treatments and massage. Internet users beware: charges for browsing per hour are pricy. The Falstaff Restaurant hosts special opera nights where guests can enjoy excellent Portugue cuisine while being treated to a live performance of professional singing - well worth spending a night at the Opera for.
