• The Cais do Sodré area is well-known in Lisbon, mostly for its nightlife, discos and bars, but also for its typical and traditional locations, buildings and restaurants. The Adega dos Macacos, located in the São Paulo district a few hundred meters away from the Cais do Sodré, presents the best of those typical traditions and fine atmosphere. The varied choices of peixe grelhado ("grilled fish") or the pernil de javali assado ("baked wild boar") are two of the most flavorful and popular dishes.
