    Overlooks a semi-pedestrianised street

  • NileGuide Expert tip:

Evening car parking is fairly accessible but best arrive before 8pm to bag a spot.

    Description:

    • Enjoying one of the quietest city-centre locations, Jumbon benefits by being on Avenida Conde Valbon, a semi-pedestrianised street characterised by its leafy sidewalks and attractive shop fronts. The menu here presents a comprehensive range of typical Chinese dishes cooked to perfection and presented promptly and without fuss. The soups listed include bird's nest soup, a speciality of the house that together with the crispy pancakes makes an appetising starter. Other delicacies include the ubiquitous Peking duck and Cha-Shao pork. Pork, beef and chicken chop suey dishes complement an equally delicious variety of chow mein meals, and the stir-fry noodles prepared here are particularly flavoursome. Try a dish with prawns and Chinese vegetables. Jumbon offers excellent value lunchtime buffet options, and Lisbon's business community often takes advantage of the restaurant's proximity to the city's commercial district to grab a quick and inexpensive lunch.
