Chef Olivier da Costa is a dab hand at fusing aromatic French and Italian ingredients with the very best of traditional Portuguese cuisine. This culinary skill can be appreciated at Olivier Avenida, housed in the four-star Tivoli Jardim Hotel. The menu offers a choice of classical dishes but also caters to a more offbeat urban palate with offerings like mini hamburgers with foie gras and caramelised onions in Port wine, and double chuletón steak with wild mushrooms and green risotto, also in Port wine. Its location off Avenida da Liberdade makes this a favourite lunchtime venue for Lisbon's executive set.
