- Pastelaria Mexicana is a coffee house/ restaurant established in 1946 and property of the same family since then. It is located at Rua Guerra Junqueiro, a street very well known for its various top shops and its busy atmosphere. Mexicana has its own production and a wide range selection of fine pastry and, besides a wonderful breakfast, you may also have your lunch, midafternoon snack (this is the time for its famous scones and pancakes with fruit jam) or dinner at its coffee house, restaurant or terrace. Indoors, you can spot a big ceramic panel made by the master artist Querubim Lapa and some art exhibitions that occur there often. The place is open daily from 08 am to 11 pm. Another Lisboa treat for fine pastry and elegant places to be lovers.
