  This new café-bar is themed around an upscale bordello and is suitably furnished in crimson velvet, gilt-framed mirrors and dozens of prints and lithographs depicting burlesque girls in risqué poses. The attention to 19th-century period detail is outstanding and the low light ambiance is delightfully decadent. The bar offers a good selection of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails and the kitchen serves a modest selection of soups, snacks and meat and fish dishes. An adjoining salon hosts poetry recitals and literary events, with an emphasis on the erotic. There's also an old-fashioned style hairdressing salon on site.
