  This welcoming kiosk café is tucked away in Jardim do Torel, one of Lisbon's lesser-known green spaces and recently renovated after a long closure. The attractive gardens command a lofty position overlooking the city's mid-town district and are easily reached via the Elevador do Lavra. A popular hang out for students, the contemporary styled café serves a variety of snacks including toasted sandwiches, cheesecake and salads. Beers, spirits, wines, teas, coffees and soft drinks can be enjoyed inside or on the outside terrace, together with a wonderful view. There's a school situated below and playtimes can fill the air with children's laughter.
