- Built in the old atelier of painter José Malhoa ,a project by architect Norte Júnior , this gallery's works are mainly borrowed from the collection of Dr. Anastácio Gonçalves. There are around 2000 works of art divided into three areas: Oriental ceramics, 19th-century Portuguese paintings, and Portuguese and foreign-made furniture. The collection integrates exhibits on 16th to 20th-century gold-smithing, glass, tapestry and carpets, and currencies and bronzes. There are even some examples of Portuguese contemporary painting from the estate of the painter Silva Porto.
