  Established over 80 years ago, this unusual store maintains its 1930s character and is still celebrated for its vintage-looking stock of tinned Portuguese sardines and other fish and seafood. The range of sardines is especially appealing, garnished variously in cloves, pepper, lemon, oregano, garlic, curry and other flavours. There's also tinned octopus for sale, anchovy, mackerel, mussel and cod, and even the shop's own version of caviar! What makes the wares even more appealing is the retro packaging featuring graphic deign from the 1940s. Each tin is hand wrapped on site and the store is filled from floor to ceiling with these bright and attractive cans.
