One of Britain's finest museums features collections from all over the world -- from the earliest beginnings with giant dinosaurs through centuries of great art and inventions. Reopening in 2005 after a major overhaul, the galleries doubled in space. At the Natural History Centre, you can use microscopes and video cameras to learn about the natural world. Living displays from the vivarium and aquarium form a large part of the collections, and a planetarium features daily programs covering modern space exploration -- an armchair tour toward the beginning of the universe and the far-flung reaches of the cosmos. The latest features added are a World Cultures Gallery, with 1,500 amazing artifacts from across the globe, including Oceania, and the Weston Discovery Centre, a hands-on museum. There is a small charge for the planetarium and temporary exhibitions.
