Description:
Celebrate the Chinese New Year in February, from noon until 6pm in Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, and in Chinatown. The festivities draw well over 250,000 people in one the largest observances outside China. Displays of performers, acrobatics, lion dancing and martial arts are held in the two squares. Simultaneously, the lavishly decorated Chintatown hosts food vendor stalls, more traditional lion dancing and performances. All events are free. Check the website for details
