Description:
- Conveniently situated, next to Tate Modern, and at the southern end of the Millennium Bridge, this late-1960s glass-fronted pub is anything but the kind of quaint, traditional inn that Dickens would have known. None the less it's well worth a visit for its unrivalled view over the Thames, and its reasonably priced beers by local London brewer, Young's. There's a large patio looking towards St Paul's Cathedral and The City, and blankets and outside heaters are provided for alfresco custom out of season. In summer it offers tea and cakes from its café bar and fills up with tourists and day-trippers.
