- The popular Prince Charles Cinema screens recent releases (after they've left the movie theatres but not yet gone to video) and other current offerings, classics and cult favourites for unfeasibly low prices (it's never more expensive than £3.50 for regular films). Members get to see many films for £1.50 - a far cry from the prices of the Leicester Square multiplexes just around the corner. On Fridays and Sundays there's a Sing-A-Long karaoke version of The Sound of Music. Started at the Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, this event has proven itself to be as popular as Rocky Horror (every Friday night at 11:45p) with everyone. Boo the Baroness and sing with Maria. But remember to come prepared in your lederhosen or nun costume. Check the site for ever-changing weekly schedules, or sign up for e-mail updates. Membership costs £5 per year, or £15 for life.
