The first Yotel, an affordable Japanese-style "capsule hotel," operates at the South Terminal. One guest said it was like a spaceship designed by Ian Schrager. The hotel offers two types of cabins -- standard at 7 sq. m (75 sq. ft.) and eight premium cabins with 2.8 sq. m of extra space (30 sq. ft.). For such a small area, you still have a private bathroom and room to store small bags and a minimum of suitcases. There's even a TV. There is also 24-hour room service for light meals and drinks, including beer and wine. At Gatwick & Heathrow.
