Description:
- A bouchon is a small, brasserie-style restaurant serving local specialities of Lyon, France's gourmet capital - that explains where this establishment gets its name from. Le Bouchon is among the oldest restaurants in the area, and owes its longstanding success to the endearingly traditional fare (be sure to try the Poached Asparagus in a Pastry served with Hollandaise Sauce), and a diverse selection of wines. The smiling French accent that answers inquiries about opening hours with "all the time, all the days", belies a rather lackadaisical waiting staff, but this is all part of the charm. There is also a separate children's menu, an extensive bar menu, and an exquisite wine list.
