• This traditional pie and mash shop is the real deal. A bona fide, living relic from London's past serving one of the few truly traditional English dishes in a beautiful if slightly shabby-chic setting on the marvelous Broadway Market. The gold and green sign, steamy windows and black and white photos of bygone days, all welcome diners in, to order at the busy counter and sit at the narrow marble topped tables. Fill up on big pies, clouds of mash all served with liquor and the famous green parsley 'gravy'. They even do jelled eels. No one could ask for more. - Jen Wight
