Description:
- First established in 1939, this is one of London's premier traditional chippies, making fish and chips the way they ought to be made. It has recently been taken over by Mike Graham (formerly of Bar Central and Le Midi) and has lost none of the ambiance that has made it so popular over the last sixty years. The slightly shabby interior is still the perfect setting to enjoy Britain's national food. The emphasis is on fresh fish, so go for the fish and chips because they will be some of the best you've ever had. If you want more modern and refined renditions of fish, then why not try the fishcakes or grilled fish of the day? Everything is delicious!
