Description:
- Beer and good ol' fashioned English food is what this Islington pub offers. The owners have concentrated on the menu instead of décor, which is a wise thing considering the shelf life of most pubs these days. Plates full of rabbit, pork, lamb, and pies disappear along with lagers and whiskies. Watch television if you're solo, or converse with fellow singles. As for the décor, freshly painted walls, polished tables and flowers are not a bad setting for a crowded pub.
