Description:
- One of the more low-key Conran restaurants, Orrery ventures a little further north than usual but sticks to a tried-and-tested contemporary menu. Named after an instrument that models the solar system, it's no surprise that the service revolves around the elegant clientele. The restaurant is discreet, cosy and quiet as it overlooks a pretty graveyard. The food is essentially modern French and contemporary, as are many Conran ventures, so expect fresh ingredients and bold flavors. The menu is not lengthy, but it is well thought out and sure to please. The Orrery Terrance is an excellent place to dine alfresco - it's a thin strip but it catches the sunset, giving it the Mediterranean feel that Conran always strives to achieve.
