Description:
- Almost stolidly English is Shepherd's restaurant in Westminster. It's wood-paneling, 19th-century accessories, European portraits and dimmed interiors make it a typical gentleman's club, patronized mainly by affluent citizens and celebrities. However, the monotony of the decor is broken by the presence of dressed-up teddy-bears in the private dining room. The service is impeccable and the prices, reasonable, though they escalate with the addition of drinks and cigars. A smart, formal dress-code is advised.
