Description:
- 'Tamarai', Tamil for 'lotus', has been designed as a hybrid bar and restaurant with an art gallery, a private lounge and a nightclub. Crystal chandeliers, hot pink banquettes, and LCD screens playing music videos make up the swanky interior. The pan-Asian menu includes Kung pao soft shell crab from China, caramelized pepper prawns with golden garlic from Vietnam, Beef Kauk Swey from Burma, sweet chilli lotus root with chives and fresh coriander from Thailand, rare grilled beef from Malaysia, and curry leaf king prawns with wild rice uppama from Chettinad. For dessert, you can try roasted baby pineapple vanilla payasam or seasonal fruit satay. Tamarai also has an extensive wine list and cocktail menu. If the variety baffles you, try the chef's tasting menu and enjoy!
