- This thoroughly modern Indian brings French elements to the traditional cuisine with mixed results. The formal, pretty decor has ethnic touches but the place can seem a little gloomy. Chef Claudio Pulze (fresh from Star of India) has put some real treats on the menu, although the quality of the fare can vary quite dramatically. The Indian risotto, Tandoori smoked salmon and naan bread with paneer stuffing all come highly recommended while the minced duck rolls can be so over spiced they could be made with any meat.
