- Camden Lock Market is situated beside the Regents Canal and was first opened in 1973 when the area was converted from a timber yard. It was the first of the many markets now running in Camden. Between the various markets about 150,000 people visit the area. Each market has its own personality and at Camden Lock you will find plenty of unique and original gifts, clothes, home furnishings and jewelery, as well as board games, puzzles, books, films and music of all sorts.
