In Spring, the annual rowing race between Oxford & Cambridge simply known as The Boat Race finishes here on the river Thames. Golf lessons by the friendly pros are of good value and the course is not far from Chiswick House and Hogarth House.

- This is a nine-hole executive course, and the driving range (sometimes known as the Chiswick Bridge Golf Range) is the most central to the city. This means that it is extremely popular with players of all ages and levels - on the weekends, the entire length of the range is taken. In addition, there are practice bunkers, a golf shop, golf club repair services, a restaurant, sessions with physiotherapists and squash courts. Additional facilities for members include lawn tennis courts, snooker, private locker rooms with showers, reduced green fees and eight-day advance booking. If you want to learn, however, this is the best place as you do not need to be a member.
