- The Oasis Sports Centre holds Central London's only public open-air swimming pool. It has a municipal, rough-around-the-edges feel, but as you swim up and down the chlorinated blue with the sun shining, or the rain splattering, or the wind lifting the water into small peaks, all under the watchful eye of the lifeguards, and the residents from the surrounding flats, you feel you are experiencing a real London one-off – urban outdoor swimming. The center also has an indoor pool, cafe, sauna and gym. On bright days, the sun deck on a raised area over looking Oasis Outdoor Swimming Pool gets well used, and very hot.
