Spot the Egyptian 4,000 year old toy mouse

Description:

Toy soldiers, model railways, teddy bears, puppets, dolls and their houses and tea sets are all at on display in the labyrinth of rooms of the two, four-story 18th century houses that make up Pollock's Toy Museum. The museum is most famous for its collection of Victorian model theaters as its namesake, Benjamin Pollock, was one of the last publishers of toy theatre sheets. No boring paintings or statues here, the kids will enjoy checking out the vintage toys that have been replaced with technology. It's a notalgic trip down memory lane for adults and even they'll be hard pressed to leave the toy shop next door empty handed. Open Monday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm
