Need to travel from Liverpool Street to Paddington Rail platform 8. Which tube line is best to use in terms of quickest and most direct. Will have luggage.

The Circle line or the Hammersmith & City line are both direct but slow. The Central Line is faster; however, requires a change at Notting Hill Gate. Just depends on how much luggage you have.
