You can get a train from London Victoria (also a Tube Station) to Dover and have 3 days in London. Nearby hotels are the Thistle Westminster, Rubens near Buckingham Palace, The Grosvenor ... anywhere! Tube travel about London is simple. The Victoria area is a perfect base. Book soon though, summers are busy.
