Los Angeles is a glamorous and vibrant city that offers couples lots of romantic ways to spend their time. I have started this list with beautiful gardens: the Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden features both Japanese-styled vegetation and and extensive artwork collection while the Descanso Garden has 160 acres of greenery to wander through as well as a Japanese tea house.
Rounding out the list is a shopping destination (the Grove) that also offers a low-key visit to Los Angeles' past and good dining via the next-door Farmers Market (with its administrative offices in the Gilmore Adobe). Also listed here is a beautiful historic building where you can see first-rate musical performances (the Wiltern). And for all the high-rollers out there I have included a helicopter ride and a spa that offers couple's treatments! Finally, for romantic art lovers, LACMA is a first-rate museum that also hosts frequent musical performances on-site.
