  • Los Angeles is a major American tourist destination, so it is no surprise that there exists such a wide variety of tour options in this unique metropolitan area. The glamour and history of Hollywood adds to this potpourri of tourist options, especially when you include the array of studio tours available.

    If history and architecture are your main interests then the Los Angeles Conservancy will probably have a walking tour for you! Other historical tours listed here include ones with a more morbid twist, such as Dearly Departed Tours and Haunted Hollywood Tours.

    Tours that are more oriented to the present-day life in Los Angeles include the Mural Conservancy of Los Angeles and the Melting Pot Food Tour.

An easy way to check out the famous Rodeo Drive and other sites in Beverly Hills is via the Beverly Hills Trolley Tour.     Again, there are so many tours are available to the intrepid traveler, ranging from bus tours provided by established older companies like Starline to off-beat tours like the (free) twice monthly tour of the Los Angeles Times headquarters. . .
