Located on Santa Monica Boulevard, just east of La Cienega, the motel could not be more centrally positioned. You can walk up and down Santa Monica, from Hollywood to Beverly Hills and visit a few tasty eateries and drinking holes on one day. The next day, you could embark on the southerly direction and window-shop the many galleries and antique stores along the way, arriving at the massive Beverly Center, offering every kind of designer outlet. Not to mention, Sunset Strip is just a brisk two-block walk up the hill. In the off-season, you can mostly drop in on the motel and get a room on the spot.
