Description:
- Campanile treats its guests to an experience that is at once thoroughly Californian and thoroughly Mediterranean. The cuisine is energetic and contemporary. Scarf down an appetizer of Beer Battered Squash Blossoms, followed by the Persimmon Salad (featuring cured meats) and an entree like the Rosemary Charred Baby Lamb. Every Monday night sees a different fixed price dinner served, often featuring such off-beat delights as goose and venison. On the lunch menu, such elegant offerings as a Tuscan Smoked Ham Sandwich exist right alongside diner classics like the Double Cheeseburger (a bit elegant itself with bibb lettuce and gruyere). Save room for dessert!
