Description:
- John O"Groats has been described by the Food Network as the "quintessential American diner." John O'Groats has been a Westside institution for over 28 years and most recently, Encino (O'Groats Grille and Pub). John O'Groats has long been considered one of L.A.'s great breakfast spots. Esquire Magazine and MSNBC featured O'Groats as "one of America's best breakfast spots." Opened in 1982, O'Groats has grown from a humble 20 seat counter restaurant to 2 restaurants serving the Westside and Encino. Lunches feature freshly roasted, hand carved turkey sandwiches, fresh salads and "L.A.'s best fish and chips (L.A. Times). Dinner is served at John O'Groats Grille and Pub along with hand crafted cocktails and artisan beers and ales. The dinner menu is made up of American classics such as Yankee pot roast, chicken pot pie, and our signature fried chicken. Fresh halibut, salmon, and sea scallops are some of the featured seafood items. Great for family and friends.
