• Opened in 2008, The Yard gastro pub features a relaxed "Cheers" style atmosphere, excellent and friendly service, and a convenient Downtown Santa Monica location – all with some of the best food and drinks on the Westside. The Yard offers American-style tapas cuisine with seasonal, Farmers Market fresh specials, signature dishes include Fresh Fish Tacos with Cumin Slaw, Grilled Skirt Steak Salad, Marinated Beet Salad with Grilled Avocado, and Pulled Pork Sloppy Joe Sliders. Of course, we also feel we have one of the best burgers in LA: an 8oz house-ground burger (chuck, short rib and skirt steak) with Grafton cheddar, grilled onions, heirloom tomato, shredded lettuce, and homemade 1000 Island dressing. All of our dishes are made with the freshest ingredients from the Santa Monica Farmer's Market.
