• It's both very LA and very un-LA. The idea of year-around outdoor yoga sounds uber-California, but here's the catch: it's free. In a city where celebrities don designer spandex work-out gear and yoga has become a profitable business, the folks from Fire Groove offer something a little different. The collective, which focuses on fire dancing classes at their indoor studio, offers a daily park-set yoga class in Runyon. It's their little way of saying thank you to the devoted community of they've built up around their dance studio. But, with everyone invited and no space confines, their daily yoga class has built up another community. Classes are from 10:30am-11:45am, year-around. There's also a 6pm-7pm Sunset class from April 27th-September 30th. No need to sign up; just grab a mat or blanket and show up!
