- Three libraries form the Palos Verdes Library District: Peninsula Center Library in Rolling Hills Estates, Miraleste Library in Rancho Palos Verdes, and Malaga Cove Library in Palos Verdes Estates. Besides very knowledgeable librarians, there are comprehensive collections of literature, audio and video, as well as long-established volunteer programs that draw all types of local participants, and made the libraries a networking place. In addition, the libraries have great locations: Malaga Cove is in a quaint area; Peninsula Center is steps away from Promenade on the Peninsula, PV's largest shopping center; and Miraleste has a panoramic harbor view from the hill.
