Water birds such as buffleheads, mallards and coots can be found swimming in the pond. Plants such as tule, cattail and willow grow in and near the water.
From Westlake Village take US 101 / Ventura Freeway to Highway 23 / Westlake Boulevard. Head south on Hwy. 23 to Mulholland Highway. Turn left (east) on Mulholland Hwy. and proceed to Rocky Oaks.
