Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park

Description:

• The park features a history trail tour of the Tatavian Indians and Spanish settlers. Other activities include campfire nature talks, equestrian programs, a junior ranger program, seasonal special events, hiking and horseback riding. Picnic areas are provided. Organized youth group camping and school tours are by reservation only. The park is also available for motion picture filming, weddings, and large group picnics and parties. The Pacific Crest Trail traverses the park between the east and west portions of the Angeles National Forest.Hiking, horseback riding, geological and historical tours, picnicking, and group gatherings are some of the pastimes that take place Vazquez Rocks Natural Area Park. Vasquez Rocks Natural Area Park is located near Agua Dulce Springs north of 14 - Palmdale freeway. The park is about midway between Santa Clarita and Palmdale.
