Description:
- The Veterans Stadium having a seating capacity of 11,600 was opened in 1948 and is presently run and managed by the Long Beach City College. The stadium is famous for inter high school football matches drawing in large crowds from the surrounding areas. The venue has also been used in various Hollywood movies and has also hosted the 1985 Motorcycle Speedway World Team Cup Final. On the third Sunday of every month over 800 antique dealers showcase their wares on this ground, making it one of the best flea markets in Long Beach.
