The Great Gatsby should have a drink at the Old Seelbach Bar, frequented by F. Scott Fitzgerald (the hotel serves as the location of Tom and Daisy's wedding). Attempts to recapture the spirit of the author's times will be thwarted by the three televisions around the bar. On Friday and Saturday nights, the SWAT Trio, featuring a vibraphone, fills the bar with jazz. The bar, an Urban Bourbon Trail stop, has an extensive bourbon selection, which you could try in the Seelbach Cocktail, a drink created at the bar around 1917.
