Started in 1956, the Pegasus Parade is the Derby Festival's oldest event. Held the Thursday before the Derby, the parade showcases marching bands, equestrian groups, floats and inflatables. The parade route goes down Broadway, starting on East Broadway. Tickets can be purchased through the official Derby Festival website for bleacher, chair, or review stand seating, but it's also free to view the parade along the route, if you can find a spot.
