• Le Palais des Gateries (The Palace of Treats), is located at Place Gabriel Peri, on a strip that includes numerous Eurasian and North African fast food restaurants, but what makes this place stand out from the rest is the 'Patisserie Oriental', or, the Eastern bakery. So, in addition to having your fill of the regular fare of kebabs, savory galette , kefta, fries and filled baguettes, you can try some truly delicious sweets of Eastern origins. Le Palais des Gateries also offers 'plates', which include various meat options, kefta and stuffed vine leaves that come served with salad and fries (8 to 13 euros). Meals can be eaten inside the restaurant (ground or first floor), or on the outside terrace. The restaurant also serves wines, beers and a selection of soft drinks.
